The new 240,000-square-foot Howard L. Hawks Hall is the largest academic building project in the university’s recent history. The College of Business building was named in honor of Hawks, the Omaha businessman, philanthropist and University of Nebraska regent. The $84 million, privately-funded building is located at 14th and Vine Streets.

Howard L. Hawks Hall features experiential learning spaces and high-tech classrooms to increase opportunities for students, faculty, staff and alumni. The building strengthens an already strong community as a central gathering place to go to class, work, study, visit with colleagues and friends, get something to eat and hang out. Below are photos of some of the building’s features during construction.
